Told my longtime Westword editor Patty Calhoun that I've brought back the Oxford comma and she laughed and said pretty much what you've said here: "It's your world." It does feel wonderfully freeing to be here--any topic I want to explore, no absolute deadlines, no student papers to grade ... and readers like you.
